SUMMARY:Solstice FemiFest
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Solstice FemiFest at the seashore of Manoel Island. \nWe will be having an afternoon and evening together! \nHere is the programme for the day: \n\n3-5pm: safe space gathering\, swimming\, chilling\n5-6:30pm: Community Reading Circle. Short poems\, quotes\, powerful sentences will be shared with the participants\, who will read them in turn and also have space for comments\, impressions\, thoughts.\n7-8:30pm: Tombla Femminista. A proper Bingo with a feminist touch.\n8:30pm onwards: Music and socialising.\n\n  \nYou’re welcome to join for the whole FemiFest or drop in for your preferred activities! You can also simply join for the community beach day without taking part in any of the activities. \nPlease note that Manoel Island shore can be reached after a short 10-minute walk and the gate is open to enter only until 8.00 pm\, while you can leave at anytime. Also there are no shops at the seashore. Make sure to bring with you the drinks and snacks that you would wish to find there. \nWe will create an area for sharing food and drinks throughout the event. \nCome and experience an afternoon filled with a sense of community\, empowerment and inclusion; a space where you can express yourself without judgement\, and have fun! \nThis is a safe space activity: women\, non-binary and trans people are welcome. We have a right to ask people to leave if they are making others feel unsafe.
