SUMMARY:Safe Space before the Pride
DESCRIPTION:The Pride march this year will take place on Saturday 12th September and as we do every year\, Moviment Graffitti will be participating. The March activities will start at around 5.00 pm near the Triton Fountain. \nBefore the march\, Moviment Graffitti\, in collaboration with MGRM\, will once again be opening its premises to provide a safe space for anyone who would like to come and have a drink with us and prepare for the Pride march. \nIf you would like to come and dress for the Pride\, do your makeup\, make placards (we have the materials)\, or meet others\, you are very welcome to come to our premises at 67 Strait Street\, Valletta. \nJust be yourself. No judgement. Just Pride. \nThe premises will be open between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm. \nWe would love to meet you there! Come and bring others with you. \nPlease note that unfortunately our premises are located in an old Valletta building with steep steps. Therefore\, the space is not accessible for persons with serious mobility issues. We regret the inconvenience.

SUMMARY:KORROTTI BARRA - Integrità fl-Ippjanar
DESCRIPTION:Johann Buttigieg is still the head of the Planning Authority despite being proven to be corrupt. \nThe chats between him and Yorgen Fenech – as well as the fact that he owns a private company operating in the planning sector – clearly show that planning in Malta has been taken over by filth and corruption. \nThe fact that Prime Minister Robert Abela has not removed Johann Buttigieg from this position is extremely serious and sends a dangerous message: that corruption within our institutions is acceptable. \nAnd it is the people and their environment who are suffering the consequences of this corruption\, through obscene decisions that trample on residents and destroy our environment. \nOn Saturday at 10am\, representatives of 11 organisations active in the fields of the environment and planning will hold a Press Conference outside the Planning Authority in Floriana (St Francis Ravelin\, next to Triq Envin Cremona)\, to demand that Johann Buttigieg be immediately removed from all public office\, and to call for decency and integrity in planning. \nWe urge you to join us. \nBirdLife MaltaDin l-Art ĦelwaFlimkien għal Ambjent AħjarFriends of the Earth MaltaFront Żgħażagħ għall-AmbjentGħawdixIl-KollettivMoviment GraffittiNature Trust MaltaRamblers Association MaltaWirt Għawdex \n****** \nJohann Buttigieg għadu l-kap tal-Awtorità tal-Ippjanar minkejja li huwa korrott bil-provi. \nIċ-chats bejnu u bejn Yorgen Fenech – kif ukoll il-fatt li huwa sid ta’ kumpanija privata li taħdem fil-qasam tal-ippjanar – juru biċ-ċar li l-ippjanar f’Malta nħataf mill-ħmieġ u l-korruzzjoni. \nIl-fatt li l-Prim Ministru\, Robert Abela\, ma neħħiex lil Johann Buttigieg minn din il-pożizzjoni huwa fatt gravi ħafna li qed iwassal messaġġ perikoluż: li l-korruzzjoni fl-istituzzjonijiet hija aċċettabbli. \nU din l-istess korruzzjoni qed ibati l-konsegwenzi tagħha l-poplu u l-ambjent tiegħu\, b’deċiżjonijiet oxxeni li jgħaffġu lir-residenti u jkissru l-ambjent tagħna. \nNhar is-Sibt fl-10am\, bħala rappreżentanti ta’ 11-il għaqda attivi fil-qasam tal-ambjent u l-ippjanar\, se niltaqgħu għal Konferenza Stampa quddiem l-Awtorità tal-Ippjanar\, il-Furjana (St Francis Ravelin\, qrib Triq Envin Cremona)\, sabiex neżiġu li Johann Buttigieg jitneħħa minnufih minn kull kariga pubblika\, u nsejħu għal diċenza u integrità fl-ippjanar. \nInħeġġukom tingħaqdu magħna.

SUMMARY:Malta Pro-Choice Rally 2026
DESCRIPTION:Hey sis! Thinking of you xx \nJoin us for this year’s Pro-Choice Rally\, taking place on Saturday 26 September at 5pm. The event will begin with a march from Castille Square\, ending at St George’s Square\, where we’ll have speakers\, the feminist choir Re-Sisters and others. \nThis year’s theme is “Hey sis! Thinking of you!” We chose this theme because\, while the State continues to ignore women and people who can get pregnant\, women are supporting and helping one another\, both practically and emotionally. \nWomen in Malta have built a community that refuses to leave anyone behind. This rally will be a celebration of that solidarity\, and a call for abortion to be decriminalised in Malta. \nLet’s be the big sister that someone needs. \nHey sis. Thinking of you. And I’ll be there for you. xx \n****** \n\nAw oħt!
